Q:Hey AFoS, I actually never heard of the levi's sta-prest brand till a little research after I picked them up. I figured it was a knock off because it had only one tag on the inside that said "Leve's Sta-Prest" haha. And until your comment I have never heard of this "movin' on" collection. I couldn't find anything on it either so would you mind enlightening a brother with some knowledge? Me am curious

To be perfectly honest I don’t know all that much about them.  I can give a rundown of my experience with them.  This list is not comprehensive and if anyone knows more than me feel free to set me straight.

My knowledge of weird vintage levi’s offshoots is dropping.

Sta-Prest - Vintage business casual line.  Mostly chinos and slacks, with a permenant press (hence the name). Recently(?) revived by the company.

Movin’ On - A 70’s workwear line.  I have a red gingham workshirt from this era.  The shirts are slim fitting with great big collars.  The jeans are not quite bell bottoms.  One I cosign, the other maybe not so much…

Panatela - A “casual tailored” line.  I have a corduroy vest from this line.  Also seen on eBay with denim blazers and thing of that ilk.

Trim Cut - Their vintage tailored line.  Lots of sport coats and trousers, coincidentally in very modern cuts.  I have a pair of linen/cotton/(poly?) pants from that line.

Action (Suits/Slacks) - Their most tailored 100% polyester line.  If you’re my size these things were practically made for you, except in the worst fabrics imaginable.

Anyone have any other info?
