Q:underdog award: Victory Storm King Stout runs up a tab of about 10 dollars for a six pack, but also weighs in at ~9%abv, essentially the alcohol content of a 12 pack of any light beer. takes half as long to drink, tastes 5x as good, and costs just under a dollar per "legal" drink. goes great with red meat.

For the purposes of the list I’m sticking exclusively to classic American beer. The pale yellow kind that’s in its prime at BBQ’s on hot days.

The list would be much different if we were including things that are comparably priced by abv.  Though I will agree Victory is fucking great.
