Q:Mr. AFOS, Great job - I'm loving the blog. Are the 505s tight on your thighs at all? I'm rocking 501s and while they fit nicely overall, they're a bit snug around my thighs. Was wondering how the 505s fit in comparison. Thx

501’s are typically slightly roomier throughout than 505’s. (Though I’ve only bought the STF in the standard 1” larger waist and 2” longer inseam.) The 505’s in a 30x30 are true straight leg jeans with a not quite skinny not quite “full” cut, which is what I prefer.
The 505’s are not snug on my thighs, but if 501’s are, you might find them too small. For 501 related info should probably ask Tommy over at Suits + Boots, I think he’s still resident 501 expert.
