Q:Jeans and Tie 101. Never has such a short and simple post covered so much. As someone who occasionally goes for the jeans and tie look, I couldn't agree more. Also, congrats on the new tweeds. Aside from a bad cut/bad styling to an otherwise well fitting suit or jacket, where do you draw the line at what might be too "out there" for you?~ScottAlexander

Well thanks, and I’m glad you got something valuable from my miscellaneous rantings.

As for “out there”.  I mostly stick to the tried and true items & cuts and let my “out thereness” come from eccentric color/pattern combos and off kilter items (orange/leopard shoes, floral ties, etc…) rather than “sprezz” (read: 15 bracelets, all my sleeve buttons undone, layering  sweaters under jackets under down vests under overcoats with no socks, etc…)
