Warm Weather Casual.
So it’s like 55 degrees outside in JANUARY. I don’t really know what I’m supposed to wear in this so I went with my most basic look. Also, tweed sneakers, because if I’m not wearing Chuck Taylors I’m wearing exact knockoffs in marginally better materials.

Olive/Orange: Nighttime Edition.
In a somewhat strange twist of fate the twilight hour was perfect for a quick snap on a quiet side street.
However, my new patchwork foulard tie (I know, right?) was blurry in every close up shot.
You’ll just have to wait to see that one internet.

Spring Tweed & Thrift Season ‘12
So thrift season is in full swing. I bought this lightweight tweed (I think it’s a wool/linen blend) that fits me immaculately and the Lanvin blazer (currently hanging in front of a fan in the bathroom) that I believe belonged to the same gent as its fit is comparable to this. Plus, check out that fabric! Worth the $5? I think so.
That I got these two items at the same should be of interest to thrifters. If you find something that fits you very very well, check the store extra carefully. Odds are in your favor (maybe not good, but pretty good) that someone donated more than just that one piece. When was the last time you rolled into goodwill with one jacket to donate? I would guess 2/3 of my wardrobe was purchased 2 or more items at a time, strike while the iron is hot and all that.

I just got this suede jacket that I’m digging. Makes me want to go “I get results you stupid chief!”
In other news, Picasa has all sorts of effects buttons now, so my pics will probably be extra bloggy until I figure out exactly how I want to use them.
